35th Tribute Celebration
2017 marked the 35th anniversary of San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Tribute Celebration is regal, stoic, some would say iconic for the Foundation, and one of the best tools San Francisco AIDS Foundation has to recognize the community and raise money. In fact, my small part in branding this event led to a record breaking year, pulling in more than $500,000 donations.
During the discovery phase I found that the 35 year stone is emerald, which really informed my design. I wanted to mimic the feeling of the event while bringing in hints of strength and beauty, with marble accents and copper filigrees which I drew from details such as the grand staircase or window treatments at the event space, which was the iconic San Francisco City Hall.
